Filmed in 2012. It begins in 2006, when we found 17 volunteer teachers holding classes on the ground — no desks, no chairs, no supplies — for more than 1,600 orphaned and vulnerable children in Epworth.

For an orphaned child in Epworth, a classroom is the one thing that changes the odds — a teacher, a desk, and a real path to a future. Every child we turn away is waiting on the next classroom to be built.

Four classrooms left — two school blocks. Until they are built, every child we enroll crowds a room that is already over capacity, and we keep turning children away.

A secondary school — seven blocks, fourteen classrooms — follows in the master plan.
